International Student Services

The staff of Target International student Center is at the complete disposal of its students. We are frequently called upon for assistance in support of housing, health, immigration, travel, sightseeing and pursuing university study. Making your stay at Target ISC enjoyable is our top priority.

Health insurance

It is a government requirement that all full-time students have health insurance coverage. If you do not have a plan that specifically covers you while you are in the United States, you must purchase a plan. The Target International Student Center has a recommended plan that starts at $120 per month.

Student ID

We provide our students with an identification card which entitles them to student discounts in many area shops, restaurants, theaters, bookstores, and gyms.

Multi-Media Lab

A computer lab, with free access to Internet, is available to all of our students. Students can practice their English with the support of videos, educational websites, CD's, and audiocassettes coordinated with textbooks and an assortment of pronunciation and listening comprehension cassettes may be borrowed from our tape lending library.

Language Partners

Students may enroll in our language partner program to have a full immersion into the American culture. In the Language Partner program, American speakers help international students improve their conversational English. They obtain, in exchange, the opportunity to converse in the foreign student's native language.

Home stay Information

Home stays can be one of the best housing options for international students. Through our partnership with the Hotel, students are matched with Boston-area families. Staying with a local family provides students with comfort, security, friendship, and cultural immersion.

Translation and Public Notary

Target International Student Center notarized translations of documents such as marriage certificates, birth certificates, transcript and others documents.
